Chickpea and smoked fish hummus

Ingredients:

  • 100 g of smoked sea bass or sea bream fillets
  • 300 g chickpeas (canned)
  • 1 dcl of olive oil
  • 20g of garlic
  • 50g of walnuts
  • a pinch of salt and pepper

Strain and rinse the chickpeas, put them in an electric food chopper, add chopped garlic, pieces of smoked fish, salt, pepper and olive oil. Work until you get a smooth mixture. When serving, sprinkle with coarsely chopped toasted walnuts. Serve this traditional Egyptian spread enriched with smoked fish on warm bread and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame, flax or pumpkin seeds.
